With celebrity chefs becoming the new Hollywood "stars" and culinary events popping up by the hundreds, Katz Communications VP Lindsey Henn found her passion project in co-founding and leading all PR efforts for this nationally-renowned food and wine event. Lindsey’s insatiable zeal for food, wine and entrepreneurism melded into the challenging role of bringing the event from inception to creation and into the national media spotlight by rallying a roster of world-renown celebrity chefs, sommeliers, musicians and artisanal purveyors for a multi-day, city-wide festival.
Leading all brand development, public relations campaigns, influencer outreach and digital marketing strategy led to impressive results…the event sold out at 4,000 guests, saw a 300% increase in revenue and a 150% increase in social engagement. Press secured directly drove an increase in sales and national brand awareness with headline features in American Way, Westways, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Huffington Post and hundreds more.
